Problems with fret buzz or multiple frets playing the same note?
Some problems on a poorly set up guitar will cause strings to buzz when you play them. Sometimes on open notes, sometimes on fretted notes. You can even have instances where multiple frets will play the same note. Here at Rusty Strings I will straighten out what the problem is and help make your guitar sound like it should.

Even brand new guitars can benefit from a proper setup. Mass production companies set all their guitars to one specification all across the board for each model of guitar they sell. What this means is that all guitars get set at fixed numbers, meaning a guitar that could possibly have lower string action is set to a higher number because not all of them can be that low. Think of it as a Cost Savings for the companies. They can produce more guitars with lesser quality to meet production quotas without having to reject as many guitars that would fail if they set them up lower.Â
